The BMW E36 Convertible was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1993. It went on sale a few months later, first in the USA and then in Europe. In 1994, the M3 version of the E36 Convertible went on sale. First with a 3.0-litre engine, then, from 1996, with a 3.2-litre engine developing 321 hp! This E36 M3 Cabriolet was a worthy successor to the emblematic E30 Convertible. It went down in German carmaker history as a commercial and popular success. More than 20 years after production ended, the E36 Convertible is still as popular as ever!
