The 2022 Modified Ford Series has gone from strength to strength and one of the prettiest, and quickest, cars on the grid is this wonderful Castrol liveried MK1 of Mark Freemantle. Mark has been an enthusiastic supporter of the series, as has Scalextric, since its inception and along with his friends is to be found on many weekends either sharing jokes and stories in the paddock or fighting the other class C cars on track in this wonderful Escort.
This classically liveried Escort is owned by Mark Freemantle, while he planned to race in the 2021 Modified Ford Series engine issues and budget saw that idea postponed. But the livery on this Escort stands it out from the rest even in the paddock. Reminiscent of the famous Zakspeed Escorts this car with its gold wheels is a real winner!
