WC-54 AMBULANCE PLASTIC MODEL KIT 1/35 SCALE ZVEZDA

The main ambulance of the US Army in WWII was the WC-54, based on the WC- Series, with a payload of 3/4 tonnes. The chassis had an extended wheelbase and an enclosed body with a capacity to carry 4 – 7 wounded plus a medic and driver. In the period 1942-1944  26 002 vehicles of this type were produced. The WC-54 was used in the US-Army until 1953 – the Korean War. In many armies of allied countries, the WC-54 remained in service until the 1960s.
