3. Acceptance of Terms

Denkit Hobbies reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendments become effective upon publication on this website.
Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any amended Terms and Conditions.

4. Products and Availability
All products displayed on this website are subject to availability.
While every effort is made to maintain accurate stock levels, pricing and product descriptions, Denkit Hobbies does not guarantee that products, specifications, images or prices will always be current, complete or error-free.
Denkit Hobbies reserves the right to:
• Correct any pricing errors;
• Update product information;
• Discontinue products without notice;
• Refuse or cancel orders where necessary.
In the event that a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Denkit Hobbies reserves the right to cancel the order and provide an appropriate refund where payment has already been received.

5. Orders and Payment
Submission of an order constitutes an offer to purchase goods from Denkit Hobbies.
An order will only be accepted after payment has been received and verified.
Orders or Pro Forma Invoices may be cancelled if proof of payment is not received within two (2) working days.
If an order is cancelled by Denkit Hobbies after payment has been received, a refund will be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
All goods remain the property of Denkit Hobbies until paid for in full.
Denkit Hobbies reserves the right to refuse, limit or cancel any order suspected of fraud, abuse, pricing errors or unauthorized transactions.

6. Delivery and Shipping
Delivery Area
Denkit Hobbies currently ships within South Africa only.
Delivery Methods
Orders are dispatched using reputable courier services.
We do not deliver to postal addresses or P.O. Boxes unless specifically arranged in writing.
Processing Times
• Orders are processed on business days only.
• Orders received on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
• Orders received after 12:00 may be processed on the following business day.
Delivery Estimates
Delivery estimates are provided as guidelines only and are not guaranteed.
Denkit Hobbies shall not be liable for courier delays, service interruptions, weather events, strikes or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Ownership of goods passes to the customer only once payment has been received in full.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated delivery address.

7. Shipping Insurance
Courier shipments may not automatically include transit insurance.
Customers requiring insurance cover must request this before dispatch and any applicable insurance fees must be paid in advance.
Where insurance has not been requested, Denkit Hobbies shall not be responsible for losses resulting from theft, loss or damage occurring after goods have been handed to the courier, except where required by applicable law.

8. Returns and Refunds
Nothing contained in these Terms limits any rights available under the Consumer Protection Act.
8.1 Defective Products
Products that are defective, unsafe or unsuitable for their intended purpose may be returned in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
Where a valid defect is confirmed, Denkit Hobbies may provide:
• A repair;
• A replacement; or
• A refund,
as required by South African consumer legislation.
8.2 Non-Defective Returns
Subject to applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, non-defective goods may be returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery for store credit or exchange only, provided that:
• The goods are unused and in a resalable condition.
• The goods are returned in their original packaging.
• All accessories, manuals and components are included.
• Proof of purchase is supplied.
Approved returns may be subject to a handling or restocking fee of up to 15% where permitted by law.
Store credit issued for returned goods shall be valid for future purchases through Denkit Hobbies and shall not be redeemable for cash.
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange or store credit unless defective or otherwise required by law:
• Sale or clearance items;
• Special-order or supplier-order items;
• Custom-built, modified or assembled products;
• Opened consumable products;
• Batteries, fuels, adhesives, paints and chemicals where packaging has been opened;
• Electronic items that have been installed, programmed, modified or used.
Denkit Hobbies does not offer refunds on non-defective goods returned due to incorrect ordering, change of mind, personal preference, compatibility issues, or where the customer no longer requires the product. In such cases, approved returns may qualify only for store credit or exchange at Denkit Hobbies' discretion and subject to the conditions above.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act in respect of defective goods.

9. Warranty
Where applicable, products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and applicable consumer protections.
Warranty claims must include:
• Proof of purchase;
• Full contact details;
• Description of the fault.
Warranty coverage does not include:
• Accidental damage;
• Abuse or misuse;
• Improper installation;
• Unauthorized modifications;
• Negligence;
• Failure to follow manufacturer instructions;
• Normal wear and tear;
• Consumable items.
Assessment and processing of warranty claims may take between seven (7) and fourteen (14) business days or longer depending on supplier turnaround times.
Warranty rights apply only to the original purchaser unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

10. Product Safety Warning
Remote-control models, lithium batteries, chargers, electric motors, nitro engines, fuels, adhesives, paints and hobby tools can pose significant risks if used incorrectly.
Customers are responsible for:
• Reading and following manufacturer instructions;
• Following all safety warnings;
• Using suitable protective equipment;
• Supervising minors appropriately;
• Operating products safely and responsibly.
Use of hobby products is entirely at the user's own risk.
Denkit Hobbies shall not be liable for injury, damage or loss arising from improper use, modification or operation of products contrary to manufacturer recommendations.
